- Get your priorities straight: Review why your goal is worth working toward. Create a list of reasons and share it with a friend or colleague.
- Reassess your obligations: What should you take off your plate, because it's not serving your goals?
- Draft new resources: Have you gotten caught in a trap of thinking you have to do it all yourself? Analyze the process and your network to see which tasks -- either those related to your goal or those that are distracting you -- might be farmed out.
